RH2 was founded in 1978 by Rick Harbert to provide sewer and water engineering services. When RH2 incorporated in 1980, the firm had six employees. RH2 was quickly established as a premier engineering firm among Western Washington municipalities.
RH2 expanded to Eastern Washington in 1991 when it merged with Columbia Engineering in Wenatchee. The Bellingham office followed in 2002, the Tacoma office opened in 2005, and the Richland office opened in 2008.
In 2011, RH2 expanded into Oregon with the acquisition of Public Works Management in Central Point. The Portland office opened in 2013.
In 2013, Tony Pardi took over the role of President from Rick Harbert, who remains active on RH2’s Board of Directors.
Throughout the past 39 years, RH2 has met growing demands by diversifying our locations and adding even more talented members to our staff. We have expanded our list of services from sewer and water to include environmental, geotechnical, structural, transportation, electrical, and SCADA services. We focus on creating and implementing the most cost-efficient and innovative ways to provide services to our clients.
As the individual needs of our clients grow, RH2 will continue to expand to maintain our high level of client satisfaction.
