RH2 is delighted to announce the promotion of Dan Mahlum to the role of Treasurer, a role that reflects both his deep technical background and trusted leadership.

Dan has been a foundational member of RH2 for nearly 30 years. Starting as a staff engineer, and steadily learning and growing into his Director position, he helped shape our treatment group into what it is today: leading complex water and wastewater facility projects, earning the trust of clients across the region, and mentoring staff at every level.

Now, as Treasurer, Dan will take on a new kind of leadership, one where he guides RH2’s financial planning and contributes to the firm’s long-term strategy and stability. With his ability to connect the dots between field experience and financial insight, Dan brings a rare and invaluable perspective to the role. 

Reflecting on his years at RH2, Dan shared:

“Some of the most rewarding moments came from working with newer staff engineers—watching them grow their confidence and abilities and ultimately become trusted advisors to our clients.”

His promotion is a milestone celebration of what’s possible when deep expertise and mentorship come together and it reflects RH2’s ongoing commitment to investing in internal leadership and preparing for the future with integrity and care.
