We are proud to share that Alicia Pettibone, RH2’s Senior Ecologist and Environmental Group Manager, has been certified as a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) by the Society of Wetland Scientists Professional Certification Program.


This certification is a respected, peer-reviewed recognition of expertise, experience, and ethical standards in wetland science. It reflects Alicia’s advanced knowledge in, soils, botany, hydrology, ecology, and environmental permitting, and her commitment to advancing the responsible management and protection of wetlands.


Alicia’s 24-year career at RH2 is distinguished by her leadership in environmental compliance, restoration design, and interagency collaboration. She has successfully facilitated permitting processes for critical infrastructure projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and is often involved from project scoping through construction. Her work consistently reflects RH2’s mission to improve everyday life in local communities through technical expertise, innovative solutions, and trusted relationships.


In terms of client relationships, Alicia shines. "It is really great to work with someone I can ask for things from, and get exactly what I asked for two working days later," shared Jack Kennedy from the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
