John Hendron, PE
Principal / Senior Civil Engineer
John is passionate about helping communities solve complex wastewater and water challenges. He has led projects across the Pacific Northwest involving pump and lift stations, drinking water wells, and system upgrades that reliably move water and wastewater to where it needs to go. His expertise in hydraulic analysis and life-cycle cost evaluation helps clients make informed decisions and achieve long-term value from their facilities.
As Co-District Engineer for the Valley View Sewer District, John supports ongoing infrastructure needs through planning, funding, design, contract management, and cost-allocation strategies. Clients know him not only for his technical skill, but for the care he puts into every project. John excels at listening closely to project stakeholders, focusing on successful outcomes, and making the process a positive experience from start to finish.
He is especially proud of bringing sewer and water utilities to unserved areas by obtaining funding through loans and grants, and/or creating Utility Local Improvement Districts (ULIDS). Throughout his career, John has been involved in the public process to form and promote ULIDS for the purpose of bringing sewer and water utilities to economically challenged communities.
