Rick Ballard, PE

After many years of dedicated leadership and service to RH2, Rick has transitioned into retirement and holds the honorary title of Marketing & Business Development Director Emeritus in recognition of his lasting contributions to the firm, its clients, and its people.

Throughout his career, Rick brought extensive experience in municipal engineering and a deep understanding of the communities RH2 serves across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. He led the planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, drainage, and roadway projects throughout the region, earning the trust and respect of clients and colleagues alike.

Known for his steady leadership, thoughtful mentorship, and remarkable attention to detail, Rick had a knack for recalling the small but meaningful insights about projects and clients that made a lasting difference in outcomes and relationships. His practical perspective, easygoing nature, and commitment to helping teams succeed have left a lasting mark on RH2's people, projects, and culture.
