Sage Acres Booster Pump Station

Following Veolia Water Idaho’s acquisition of Eagle Water Company, upgrades were required at the Sage Acres Booster Pump Station to meet Idaho Department of Environmental Quality public water system standards. RH2 provided design and permitting services to improve reliability, capacity, and operational flexibility while keeping the existing pressure zone in service throughout construction.

Improvements included relocating existing pumps, reconfiguring the piping gallery, and adding a redundant 100-horsepower pump to meet maximum day demand and fire flow requirements. Additional upgrades included a new pressure-reducing station to create a separate pressure zone, replacement of the standby generator, HVAC improvements, and electrical service upgrades. The project strengthened system resilience, improved regulatory compliance, and enhanced long-term operational performance while retaining the facility’s existing exterior paint scheme in support of the local Boise State Broncos.
